An, At Home Day

Just for a bit of a change I worked yesterday and am at home today. So after a bit of a sleep in, 7am as opposed to 5 something we got up did our jobs and then had some fun with playdough. Lachie made a great birthday cake for me complete with about a zillion toothpick candles but told me I was 5 years old. Next we played with the paint scrapers and created this masterpiece. Will probably have some active time this arvo when it cools down a bit. I have also included some of the kids art from kindy as it is so beautifully presented.

A lazy Saturday

Well with lots to do and time running short its a good idea to have friends over and laze the day away eating too much and well just hanging out. Seriously I think all is good to go for our trip, 12 days but who's counting, and sometimes things just happen! Lachie decided to be the photographer today and although there were lot of blurry shots and heaps of the ground and peoples feet (gotta love digital, delete) he did manage a good one of the boys in recovery mode after a night at our local. Toni and I of cause played the babysitters club. Also got a photo of Dave's backyard pram the wheelbarrow! Talk soon,

Lachie's Zoo

Lachie loves his animals and had fun inside on a very windy day building a zoo for some of his animal. We also made a farmyard from the useful box but Demolition Piper upset this before any photos could be taken. Not much else today just great kite weather but not good if you have allergies which I do so we spent a lot of time inside wrecking the house. Talk soon, Ang

A day at Little Mates Farm.

Last Monday our playgroup headed over to Little Mates Farm to have a pony ride and check out the animals there. The kids loved it! But too my terror their favourite animals were the mice. Definitely not my kind of animal, I am more the jump on the table kind of mouse girl. Looks like I may need to get over my silly fear though. Lachie is a natural on the pony and even Piper enjoyed a smaller ride (so small that we didn't get a photo of her though) We are busy counting down the day, only 14 to go, until we head off on our trip to WA and then South Africa.... Getting very excited. Talk soon
